    Very good

It was good value, easy to find and it was clean and tidy.

I would have preferred to have been able to check out later than 10 o'clock.

    Good

Ability to check in at a late hour and 24 hour desk service.

Very noisy clients who shared our section of rooms coming in late at night and the noise of people walking by on their way to their rooms yelling, dropping fast food garbage, booze bottles etc. at 3 am.

    Good

Helpful staff. Reasonably priced breakfast. Nice walk into town.

Courtesy bus into town always appeared to be full. Even though not all apartments full, they locate guests next door to each other and the walls are very thin so you can hear noise from next door.

    Exceptional

Nice price and the mini bus into the city was good but it only holds about 16 people so get on early.

Accomodation was cheap and cheerful. You get what you pay for!

The breakfast was not worth the walk to canteen for, Don't waste your 5euro, bring your own food and make use of the kitchen facilities. It was not clear from the booking details that the appartment (including one shower) would be shared between four rooms accommodating up to 6 people!!!

If you're just in Galway for a few days and need nothing more from your accommodation than a place to lay your head, Corrib Village fits the bill. While it is a little far from town, it’s a good alternative if you can't get a hostel in the city centre. Even if you have to get taxis to and fro, it still works out cheaper than getting a hotel.

As I said, it is just that little bit too far out for convenience, although the walk in the mornings was quite nice. The rooms are fine, but the walls are quite thin, so if anyone is up before you, you will be woken up. Also, while the shower got the job done, it was far from in full working order. Still, for the price I was paying, these were minor complaints.

This is budget accommodation - there's no doubt its a university halls. But for a bed at night, its cheap and handy. The bed was comfortable and though my friend said her walls were very thin, I slept through it all. The Shuttle bus is very handy - into town in 10minutes (during the day only). Its also a pleasant walk. Free car parking is also very useful.

The bathroom was tiny and very basic, and there was a water stain where the shower had splashed out in to the main room. And the furniture and bed clothing was all clean but worn.

    Very good

    Cost and friendly atmosphere

Check-in time of 4pm is crazy it should be much earlier 12am onwards.

Cheap, clean, no-nonsense accommodation within walking distance of city centre.

It is student accommodation built in blocks with shared communal area so be prepared for noisy and drunken neighbours.

The accommodation had quite an overpowering smell of mildew and damp in the rooms, hard to breathe sometimes with it.

    Fabulous

It was well worth the money 40 euros for 2 people per night is a steal! The rooms are fine and you can even use the kitchen to make your own food. The Village also offers buses in to and out of the city free of charge during the day which is great, or you can enjoy walking in its only about a 20 min walk. For night life you can get a taxi into town for as little as 10 euro which is great. I loved Galway city and this accomodation is great for people who are not seeking luxury but cheap, and well located beds.

The shared bathrooms are not the most hygenic but are still fine for the price my expectations werent very high.

I thought it was too far frm the city centre. It cost me 36 euros in one night to get there and back again. This is not a city location and should not be advertised as one.

    Fabulous

Parking was great .safe place to stay when on your own

The village is well suited to families or groups, with access to onsite leisure facilities and has a small supermarket. What you are getting is university college accomodation in the uni break I gather - it's not four star hotel stuff!

There was a slight 'mould' smell about the room which disappeared quickly with airing the room. However the room didn't appear to have any heating so would be chilly overnight, in colder periods.
