    Very good

The staff at Corrib Village was always available (24 hours per day), pleasant and helpful. It was nice to have access to a kitchen for cooking some meals ourselves. It was also nice to have a lounge with a tv to catch up on news, etc during our stay. For us, the location, next to the river with a nice walkway was a bonus. The breakfast, while simple, was healthy and well managed.

The cleaning staff were very unmotivated. At one point there were 3 cleaning people sitting on the stairs when we arrived. When we left our room later, the cleaners were gone, but there were several pieces of litter on the floor. The entry stairway really needed a good scrubbing. On our last day, before we had to check out, painters arrived, blocked the apartment door open and started painting the apartment. We had to deal unexpectedly with the fumes and mess of painting.

    Very good

Stayed for one night, its good value for money, room was clean with a nice bed.

As the room was on the ground level, it was a bit humid.

It is a basic room.. But it was clean ,quiet and had everything u need. No complaints.. I had read the reviews and knew to bring a mirror and a radio. The kitchen is a bonus.. Do bring provisions and make use of the kitchen. It has everything u need, The bus service is good but does end at 8pm and its a little far to walk in heels.Overall, happy with the accommodation.

If u dont make the bus the taxi at 9 euro is a little expensive, add 20 euro on 2 a nite out for the taxi in and out of town when u are budgeting.

I can't answer that. However, though you have a different section for complaints, I won't be using that, but I'll say it here: I requested 4 single en-suites for 4 people and I got separate rooms(single/double,this was ok) but only 2 bathrooms, which meant 2 people had to share the bathroom. I don't think it was fair.(We paid for 4 bathrooms.) Neither do I think that the explanation for this was fair: 'We wanted you to stay together'...Yes, we wanted to stay together but I should have been told this wasn't possible given the conditions. Anyway we did NOT stay together as 2 rooms were in block J and two in block I... I think you should address that, thank you!

    Fabulous

Budget accomodation, there are many buildings, you have kitchen and bathroom for 2 or 3 living rooms. 10 minutes car ride from Galway centre.

Breakfast is not so good for its price, it is better to buy something in the shop and prepare it by yourself.

    Good

Less fresh towels and more cleaning

    The staff was apologetic.

We were not nade aware that *It was a college campus dormitory *there would be college kids staying in the dormitory *the shared bathroom would be in need of a good cleaning *the breakfast want not complimentary *check-in would be delayed 30 minutes (I called ahead and no one said anything) *the keys to the room quit working in the middle of the night, for which I had to go to the front office in my pajamas after a trip to the shared bathroom All this would have been tolerable, if er at least knew that for a few dollars cheaper we were moving from something like a hotel to something much less than a hotel. I was travelling with my father and it was not a good accommodation for a senior citizen.

A nightmare in Corrib Village (Campus Accommodation) The worst night ever at an hotel. It started when we opened the corridor door that leads to our bedroom. The smell was bad ( I guess the carpets got wet and were not dried properly) when we opened the room the smell was worse. The room is small but we did not think it will be big. The wall to wall carpet was dump making it unpleasant to walk without shoes. The bathroom is joint to adjacent room and looked awful. We did not shower there at all and only used the toilet for number 1. We decided to go to sleep early (10 PM) around 1 AM we started earing shouting at the corridor out side our room a drunk male was coursing and banging on the door this continued until 3 AM when he went to sleep. When I went to the toilet the joint door was open and a strong smell of alcohol come out of the room. Needless to say we did not sleep well that night.

    Superb

Was really cheap and close to town, was there for the races

    Good

Good value for the galway races..Shuttle bus into city.

I know it is galway race week and usually get to bed at 5 or 6 but being woken up at 8 with music session starting next door didnt help.Maybe I am getting too old and it is possible it could have been us starting the session on another morning..Not a complaint really.
